To promote the health of New Mexicans through comprehensive cancer prevention and control efforts.

Vision

To reduce the burden of cancer in New Mexico by working in public/private partnerships in order to maximize resources. Our programs aim to:

1- reduce New Mexicans’ risks for developing cancer
2- increase appropriate cancer screening and early detection
3- improve access to high-quality cancer treatment and care
4- address quality of life issues for people affected by cancer
5- promote coordination and collaboration among organizations and agencies working on cancer-related issues across the state
6- Eliminate disparities in cancer incidence, morbidity and mortality in New Mexico.
